Now, hitchhiking out of Istanbul is no simple matter and it was almost impossible to find any kind of access point to the thundering monster of highway that could be seen tantalisingly below from the bridges where I stood.
I arrived at the celebrated tourist centre of Istanbul, the Sultanahmed, where the famous giant blue mosques stood, untouched by the modern age. Within seconds, local guides were hustling me to buy postcards, maps and whole piles of other assorted crap.

My new Turkish friend apologised to me as he walked to the back of the airplane to refill his glass of whiskey. His dry sense of humour reminded me that we would soon be arriving in Istanbul and I got ready for a change of continent.
I can truthfully say, Turkish women are the most handsome, beautiful, and varied of all females.
I met Turkish nationals in Sweden and they all agreed, if they were to marry, they would go back to Turkey and find a wife.
